Impact Leadership & Strategic Vision
We built a thriving ecosystem of community, local vendors, and social responsibility including a proud and diverse team of over 30 people. Mrktbox supports over 150 local food vendors & farmers, fostering a robust connection between producers and consumers. Under my leadership, the company grew from inception to over $4M in annual revenue and expanded to three thriving stores and a busy home delivery and distribution division.
In addition, I am extremely proud to have guided Mrktbox to achieve B-Corp certification, securing one of
the highest scores for a for-profit enterprise. This certification reflects my commitment to
building sustainable, community-driven businesses that balance profit with social and
environmental responsibility. Since inception, Mrktbox has generated over $18M in accumulated revenue with over $15M going back into the local food economy.
In 2022, we became a certified B-Corp. The strenuous certification program took me approximately 18 months to complete. It recognizes our efforts to balance profit with that of our need to serve our community, our vendors/suppliers and our social & environmental responsibilites as an organization.

Bikeables
We launched Bikeables in Hamilton, On. We were an online local food aggregator/grocery store that delivered exlusively by cargo bike. We learned the challenges of food aggregation and logistics of food distribution. We partnered up with local farmers, food producers and a food co-op to deliver their goods to end users throughout Hamilton.
Dundurn Market
In 2018, we opened the doors to our first brick & mortar location; Dundurn Market. The market balanced itself as part micro grocery, part cafe but quickly became a staple and meeting place for the residents of the Kirkendall Neighbourhoon.
